Dr. Waldrop
MedSpa Director, Dr. Waldrop specializes in ophthalmic plastic surgery and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures.
He earned his medical degree at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He is a board-certified ophthalmologist and has completed additional fellowship training in ophthalmic plastic surgery at the University of Vermont.
Dr. Waldrop has been a member of many medical societies including the Fresno Madera Medical Society, the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ESOPRS). He has published numerous articles for medical journals with the emphasis on ophthalmic plastic surgery and presented many of them at national and international symposiums and seminars.
Dr. Waldrop has been with EYE-Q since 2003, performing thousands of eyelid surgeries and non-invasive cosmetic procedures annually. His goal is to provide safe and effective cosmetic and medical care to his patients using the most advanced technology available. He is proud to call Fresno home, and enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and two children.
Kim Burgen
Kim has been working alongside Dr. Waldrop since he opened The MedSpa at EYE-Q in 2003.
Over the years, Kim has played a vital role on Dr. Waldrop’s team answering patient inquiries, conducting skin care consultations, and helping with administrative tasks that keep our MedSpa operating smoothly. Kim loves the challenges of her career and enjoys helping patients achieve healthier skin utilizing all that the MedSpa has to offer. In her spare time, Kim enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and baking.
Nichole Salas
Nichole is one of our Cosmetic Laser Nurses. She started with EYE-Q in 2015 working in our Surgery Center and joined the MedSpa team in 2024.
Nichole graduated from the Nursing Program at Fresno City College. For Nichole, it is rewarding to see results that provide a smile and confidence for her patients. Making people feel good about themselves is her favorite part about what she does. In her spare time, Nichole likes to exercise and enjoy time at the beach with her family.
Bao Vue
Bao started with the MedSpa in 2024 and is one of our Cosmetic Laser Nurses.
Bao was inspired to pursue a career in nursing because she wanted to help people feel better. She enjoys the satisfaction of seeing her patients achieve excellent results with the different products and procedures offered at the MedSpa. Outside of EYE-Q, Bao enjoys reading, watching anime, and playing video games with her family.
Tristyn Anaya
Tristyn has been with EYE-Q since 2018 and on Dr. Waldrop’s team since 2021. She is a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant.
Tristyn may help prepare you for your procedure, collect your medical history, and more. She enjoys the fact that each day at EYE-Q is different and that there is something new to learn each day. In her spare time, Tristyn enjoys spending time with family, going to the gym, and taking her dog on walks.
Jennifer Leyva
Jenny has been with EYE-Q and Dr. Waldrop’s team since 2020 and is a Certified Ophthalmic Technician.
Jenny may be the friendly face that escorts you to an exam room, collects your medical history, removes your sutures, and more. She enjoys learning new things and meeting new people. Outside of EYE-Q, Jenny enjoys spending time with friends and family and going to the gym.
Rose Chang
Rose is one of the assistants on Dr. Waldrop’s team, and she has been with the MedSpa since 2024.
Rose may be the friendly face that escorts you to your exam room, prepares you for your procedure, collects your medical history and more. She enjoys helping patients improve their vision and quality of life. In her spare time, Rose enjoys hiking, playing volleyball, and traveling.
